Phases 2024

Phases was created as part of Québec’s Integration of Art in Architecture and Environment program. The distinctive elements of the work—a motif inspired by the alembic, a vertical spiral, and a series of forms reminiscent of knots—evoke the processes involved in transforming raw material, as well as the ideas of movement and cycle. The title Phases refers to each successive aspect of a phenomenon in evolution. Taken together, the elements subtly suggest a climbing plant and evoke the notion of evaporation. Materials: Québec aluminum and paint imitating stainless steel and copper Collaboration: Atelier du Bronze Location: Station Agro-Biotech, Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec
